The Brief

BBQs Galore engaged us to support the fit-out of their new Munno Para store in Smithfield, South Australia, with a retail shelving solution that aligned with their refreshed national store concept.

The brief required a system that would:

• Complement the new dark, industrial-inspired store design and colour palette
• Create a premium presentation for BBQs, outdoor cooking accessories and lifestyle products
• Deliver flexibility across multiple product categories and changing seasonal ranges
• Provide a scalable solution that could be replicated across additional store locations nationally

As part of the project, BBQs Galore also required a merchandising solution for the rollout of a new kitchenware and pantry range across stores nationally.

Our Solution

We supplied our Versa® Shelving System in a black finish throughout the Munno Para store, creating a cohesive and contemporary retail environment that complemented BBQs Galore’s updated branding and interior design direction.

The combination of our black Versa® shelving and their timber-look joinery elements delivered a premium finish while maintaining the durability and flexibility needed for a high-traffic retail environment.

The Versa® system was used across multiple departments including:

• BBQ accessories
• Kitchenware and cookware
• Knives and utensils
• Smoking and grilling products
• Gift and promotional displays
• Portable BBQ and outdoor cooking categories

The modular nature of the system allowed for clean merchandising lines, improved product visibility and adaptable layouts across a wide variety of product sizes and categories.

Following the success of the Munno Para fit-out, we partnered with BBQs Galore on a national Versa rollout program to support the launch of their new kitchenware and pantry product range across stores throughout Australia.

The rollout provided consistency in presentation across the network while allowing stores to maintain flexibility in merchandising and future product expansion.
