The Brief

SI Retail is proud to have played a major role in the launch of the new Rebel Store in Doncaster, Victoria which opened its doors in March 2020.

SI Retail was approached by Rebel to partner with their international designers to turn their concepts and designs into a physical store environment. This meant design engineering over 100 different fixtures and fittings and ensuring delivery times were met for the installation of all items before the store opening. 

Our Solution

Over the past 10 months, SI Retail worked with Rebels designers, builders, installers and media company to form solid partnerships in delivering this project. The level of attention to detail and consistency presented by all involved is what allowed this project to be delivered on time. This includes the four SI Retail staff who worked full-time on this project until completion. Having our project managers available on call 24/7, as well as having the ability to send all shop fittings directly from China to the store in Melbourne meant we were able to deliver the full retail suite of fixtures within short lead times.

Our teams delivered an incredibly high standard of joinery and metalwork. Each item was prototyped before mass production. The process of providing these custom store fixtures involved 5 different factories specialising in metal work, acrylic, fibreglass, joinery and fabric. Along with the custom shop fittings, the store also utilised our revenue generating  EZI-Q® system which tied in nicely to their brand and matched the modern store design. Working with Rebel and their partners was an absolute pleasure for everyone at SI Retail and we look forward to partnering with them again in the near future.
