CRESTMEAD INDIAN GROCERY STORE FIT-OUT | VERSA® RETAIL SHELVING

The Brief

Gavnish from India Kart first engaged SI Retail in June 2025 while sourcing retail fixtures and accessories for his first Indian grocery store in Bethania. Impressed with the quality of the products and service provided, he returned to SI Retail when planning the shelving fit-out for his second location in Crestmead.

The brief was to develop a practical and efficient store layout that would maximise the available retail space, accommodate an extensive product range and create a professional, well-organised shopping environment.

Our Solution

Using measurements supplied by Gavnish, SI Retail designer Patrick developed a tailored shelving layout to complement the proposed store plan and merchandising requirements. The initial design was reviewed collaboratively, with revisions made throughout the planning process until the client was satisfied with the final layout.

SI Retail supplied the store’s flat metal Versa® gondola shelving systems and a coordinated range of Versa® shelving accessories , including adjustable shelves, brackets, black wire shelf fences and gondola baskets. The merchandising solution was completed with retail display hooks and Flip Scan label components , data strips , and roller shopping baskets with a matching basket stand .

Our team maintained regular communication throughout the project, providing ongoing follow-ups and attending the site to review progress. The completed fit-out delivers a durable, flexible and professional retail environment with excellent product visibility and the capacity to adapt as the store’s merchandise range evolves.
